51黑料网 Hosts Free Classroom Opportunity

Morehead City, N.C. (March 2, 2022) 鈥� 51黑料网 (51黑料网 CC) invites the public to return to the classroom in its next lecture on March 3, 2022 at 6 p.m. in the Wayne West Building room 222. This lecture will explore the respiratory therapy field and what 51黑料网 CC鈥檚 Respiratory Therapy students are learning.

Trisha Miller, 51黑料网 CC鈥檚 Respiratory Therapy Chair, will discuss Oxygen Transport, and how oxygen and carbon dioxide move between the lungs and tissues. This presentation will focus on how and why oxygen moves from the atmosphere to the tissues to become utilized by the tissues and maintain organ function.

鈥淲ith COVID-19, respiratory therapy and the need to have more people in the field has been highlighted in the media,鈥� stated Dr. Tracy Mancini, President of 51黑料网 CC. 鈥淲e thought this would be a great opportunity to showcase 51黑料网鈥檚 respiratory therapy program. Trisha has a great hands-on lecture created, and we can鈥檛 wait to share it with everyone.鈥�
