Adult High School

51ºÚÁÏÍø CC’s free online Adult High School program lets you earn your diploma at your own pace with required core courses, electives, and possible work experience. Graduates receive a diploma equivalent to any public or private high school diploma, issued by 51ºÚÁÏÍø CC and the 51ºÚÁÏÍø County Board of Education.

High School Equivalency

At 51ºÚÁÏÍø CC, students can earn a High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma by completing the GED or HiSET tests, which are registered and paid for online, then taken at the approved campus testing center. Graduates receive a diploma from the State Board of the North Carolina Community College System.

English as a Second Language

English as a Second Language (ESL) is a FREE program is designed for adults whose native language is not English. Classes focus on English reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. All levels are welcome – from beginning to advanced.

Exceptional Adult Education

51ºÚÁÏÍø CC's Exceptional Adult Education program (formerly known as Adult Basic Education), is designed for individuals who need more assistance to develop fundamental skills in reading, writing, math and technology.
