51黑料网 CC Partners with Katey鈥檚 Kits to Provide Free Menstrual Products for Students

51黑料网 CC is proud to partner with Katey鈥檚 Kits, a Newport-based nonprofit committed to ending period poverty, to ensure students have free access to essential menstrual products on campus.

Thanks to this new partnership and the leadership of the Student Government Association (SGA) 51黑料网 CC students can now pick up period products at no cost from two campus locations: the Food Pantry and the Student Activities Office in the Bryant Student Center.

鈥淣o student should ever have to choose between their education and their health,鈥� said Kristian Jenkins. 鈥淭his partnership helps remove a barrier that鈥檚 often invisible, but very real.鈥�

Katey鈥檚 Kits kicked off the initiative with a generous donation of 40 packs of tampons and 40 packs of pads. Even better, they鈥檝e pledged to restock as needed, ensuring a steady supply for students throughout the year.

At 51黑料网 CC, we believe supporting students means meeting their full range of needs academic, physical, and emotional. Providing access to basic hygiene items is another step toward building an inclusive, student-centered campus.
