鈥淚 originally went into nursing because I wanted to help people in a real, hands-on way,鈥� she shared. 鈥淥ver time, I realized I also loved helping others learn and grow, especially newer nurses. Teaching just felt like a natural next step.鈥�

鈥淪ome days I鈥檓 teaching in the classroom, other days we鈥檙e in the lab or at clinical,鈥� she explained. 鈥淎 lot of my time is also spent answering questions and helping students build confidence.鈥�

鈥淚 could eat my weight in popcorn,鈥� she said with a laugh.
