Grants through the Financial Aid Office may be available to assist students with paying for child care services provided while the student parent is attending classes. 51ºÚÁÏÍø CC students may use the link below to submit an Online Child Care Grant Application.

Eligible 51ºÚÁÏÍø CC students may also apply for child care funds through the U.S. Department of Education Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) program.
CCAMPIS supports student-parents attending 51ºÚÁÏÍø by offering financial assistance for child care services. The goal of CCAMPIS at 51ºÚÁÏÍø CC is to ensure that student-parents are successfully able to complete their course work and graduate, while ensuring that child care needs are met by a quality child care site and costs to the student-parent are minimal.
Eligibility
- Currently enrolled at 51ºÚÁÏÍø CC and eligible to receive or receiving a Federal Pell Grant
- Have completed an application with the 51ºÚÁÏÍø County Department of Social Services for child care services. (More information about applying for child care, can be found the county website )
- Student- Parent must utilize a licensed Child Care Facility or licensed Home Care Facility.
Program Requirements
- Maintain good academic standing of 2.0 or higher
- Maintain a minimum of part time enrollment (priority slots go to full time enrollment during Spring/Fall Semester)
CCAMPIS will also aim to support student parents with additional needs including:
- Community Resources , Referrals, and Parenting Programs
- Child Care Facility identification, service monitoring, and advocacy
- Supportive educational services and enrollment in TRIO
