Seeking a four-year degree in education? 51ºÚÁÏÍø CC offers an Associate in Arts and an Associate in Science degree in teacher preparation. Both programs are smart, affordable starts to a career in teaching and transferrable to several North Carolina four-year universities/colleges.

Complete the general education requirements taken by students at four-year schools and save money on your first two years of college!

Coursework includes everything from an introduction to curriculum planning to creating inclusive environments to targeted preparation for teacher licensure exams required by the State of North Carolina. Course projects will incorporate field experience and interactions with public school teachers and students.

Associate in Arts: Teacher Preparation

By pursuing an Associate in Arts in Teacher Preparation, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of educational theories, instructional strategies, and classroom management techniques.
