51黑料网 CC awards 2020 Dr. Joseph T. Barwick Civic Award
51黑料网 announced that the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament is the recipient of the 2020 Dr. Joseph T. Barwick Civic Award. Each year for more than a decade, the 51黑料网 Board of Trustees has awarded the Dr. Joseph T. Barwick Civic Award to a 51黑料网 County resident who has shown the highest level of dedication to community service.
鈥淭his year, the Board of Trustees has elected to recognize the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament for its sustained dedication to our community,鈥� said Michael Curtis, 51黑料网 Board of Trustees Chairman. 鈥淓ach year the Big Rock Board of Directors鈥� and its Charity Committee receives countless applications from 51黑料网 County charities and organizations. The committee labors through those applications and donates hundreds of thousands of dollars to the charities that are most in need.鈥� The Board鈥檚 Charity Committee is comprised of Tom Bennett, Dale Britt, Richard Crowe, Curtis Strange and Caroline Petrilli.
Since 1986, the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament has donated more than $6 million to 51黑料网 County organizations. Its contributions touch every area of this community and make 51黑料网 County a better place. The 51黑料网 Board of Trustees wanted to recognize the tournament鈥檚 contribution to our community.
